Summer is winding down, but here at 9 Clouds U. we are busy as ever. The designers, Marc and Hunter, are developing our “Big Summer Project” which I will reveal in a later post, so stay tuned! And Sawyer and I have been busy planning and marketing our end of the summer event, the Sandbox Workshop. On August 30th, we are inviting local small businesses to join us at the Museum of Visual Materials in downtown Sioux Falls for a free hands on workshop focusing on “Six Things Every Small Business Needs to Do Online.” We are very excited to have the opportunity to connect one-on-one with our clients and build personal relationships with each one.
Marc designed our posters and post cards that will be hand delivered to local businesses promoting the event (check it out below). Threadbird is making “Sandbox” stickers for us to hand out as a guerrilla marketing tactic, and Downtown Sioux Falls posted the event on their “Things To Do” list. We will personally email prospective clients and post the event on all social media outlets. All attendees will be entered for a chance to win a free one year subscription to Sandbox ($270 value) and are encouraged to bring a laptop. Hope to see you there!
Ciao,
Amy Thorne

This morning we started out in the 9 Clouds office with an intense brainstorming session. This session although brief was filled with ideas. We discussed homecoming shirts, newsletters, website possibilities, stickers, business cards, posters, buttons, coupons, wholesale pricing for vendors, bands being sponsored by Moose Friendly, and putting the Moose on a race car.
After the intense brainstorming session we started working on an affordable way to reach out to everyone who buys a Moose Friendly shirt. John Meyer, Chief Creative Officer of 9 Clouds, Inc., suggested that we use a service called MailChimp. MailChimp is a cheap and easy way to keep others informed via email. We now have a tab to sign up to receive promotions and updates on our Facebook page.
We decided that once we got the newsletters figured out that we wanted to look into promotional items to help spread the Moose Friendly name. We decided to get some stickers from Storenvy. We’re going to send a free sticker with every purchase! They are pretty sweet looking. But you’ll have to order a shirt to see one. (Stickers will begin shipping middle of August.)
Once we had that all figured out we turned to the website. Evan has been working his tail off working on this design. It is going to be simple and fitting to the Moose Friendly way of life. Hate to give away any details but I can tell you that it’s going to be awesome!
Stay tuned to 9 Clouds U for the latest information regarding our start up business Moose Friendly.
Have a Friendly Moose day,
Travis K.

Over the past month, we have been working our tails off here at 9 Clouds U. Moose Friendly is starting to come together as a business. Our Facebook and Twitter pages are being updated frequently. We have our 12 seconds account and Dailybooth accounts up and rolling. We are featuring our new shirt entitled “The Family” on the Storenvy page. Evan is kicking out some wickedly awesome designs for the website, moosefriendly.com. We’ve got some mailing envelopes and some awesome shipping labels designed by Evan. Every order will come with these so if you want to see them, make sure you submit an order at moosefriendly.storenvy.com.
Have a Friendly Moose Day!
Here at 9 Clouds U, we not only focus on Friendly Mooses, we also have been working on a website for Mama’s Ladas Enchiladas. John Nelson helped us out with the photography on the site. If you like his work check it out here.
